| | Model of the car: | Diamante ES (loaded) | | | General comments: | Great car, great looks!It has some issues with the acceleration and gas but overall a luxurious ride with nice extras. I wouldn't buy another one (unless I got a great deal on a top of the line LS model with low mileage) but I'm very glad I had this one. I wouldn't trade-in the experiences I had with this car for the world, but for a 2002 Maxima SE 20th Anniv. Edition, I'd definatley trade in this car!This was my first car and is worth it if it is going to be someone else's first car. It taught me to budget gas money and when my job didn't make enough money to fill it's tank every 5 days ($27.00 in NJ) it taught me to take the bus! | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | - This car has the slowest acclereration I have ever witnessed (the low end on this car is hideous).- Yes you have a powerful engine but you can't really use it considering you'll be killed by the gas prices.- No heated side mirrors.- Expensive brake's and compnents that last about as long as a full gas tank.- The car is so heavy that the engine has to make up for it in the terms of wasting more gas.- The gas pedal is hard and often takes a hard push in order to get it going, try doing that while paralel parking.- This one might be just mine, but it's scratch and dent prone, I don't get it, every month there's a new scratch or dent on it.- Low resale value unless you have low mileage (which I do thank god) | | | Previous car: | - 95 Accord- 93 Millenia S- 92 and 95 Maxima- 97 Diamante. |
